Gold Diggers

After two weeks of non-stop sporting competitions and hours upon hours of media attention, the 2008 Summer Olympics are finally complete.  And while the sports fan inside of me is already sorry to see them go, I know that I’ll be all right.  Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, on the other hand?

Well, that game’s heading straight to the bargain bin.

A Tired Soul

September 9, 1999, was a huge day for me.  Just a few weeks before my 15th birthday, my parents surprised me with a brand new Sega Dreamcast and a gift certificate to go and pick out the game of my choice.  Being the EGM-reading nerd that I was, I knew I had to pick up Soul Calibur, recently anointed as EGM’s game of the month.
